  5. Okay so you've gained a level...so now what are you gonna do?
  6.  
  7. Well let me tell you!
  8.  
  9. First, this will be the only time you're gonna see this message so you
  10. might want to read it.
  11.  
  12. This hint is given to all races and all classes in the game c9Battle Lands
  13. c2but from now on, every time you gain 2 levels you will be given
  14. information which will pertain to your class. Some of the information is
  15. done by level so even if you finish the game and you want to start over
  16. these little tricks might not work. Most of the specific information is
  17. definitely done by class so if you are a rogue now and next time you
  18. are a mentalist then don't expect to be able to rob people once we tell
  19. you how to do it this time.

  21. That out of the way here are a few hints you might want to know at an
  22. early level...
  23. ce
  24. 1. The best skill for early levels is Salesman. If you have a 50% or
  25. better in the class then you will get half off of everything. If you
  26. have a whopping 100% then you will get everything for a quarter of
  27. it's normal price. With as much as the stuff in this game costs you
  28. will be glad of this skill.

  30. 2. At low levels a combination of better armor and poor weapon is the
  31. key to survival but the classes which fight poorly might want to try the
  32. best armor and just use spells in combat. If you run out of magic power
  33. however you will probably have to run from the fight and go to the
  34. healer.

  36. 3. Putting your money in the bank keeps you from losing it when you die
  37. BUT it is possible (with the correct skills) to access the Bank Network
  38. Link and learn the account numbers of other players. This takes quite
  39. some skill but it can be done.

  41. 4. Camping outdoors keeps people from calling you into the arena but
  42. a thief may rob you blind if you camp outside.

  44. 5. GO TO SCHOOL. I know everyone wants big weapons and powerful armor
  45. but learning the skills at the college will allow you to access other
  46. parts of the Computer Network and through this access you can find
  47. many hidden aspects of the game like how to raise your traits, how to
  48. access the blackmarket, how to build your own weapons and armor, how
  49. to discover what all the maps, monsters & magic looks like and how
  50. to gain the secrets to complete Battle Lands.

  52. 6. Take your time. This game will last quite some time. The registered
  53. version will have 5 zones, 30 maps, 100 monsters, 10 races, 10 classes,
  54. a hundred spells, hundreds of weapons, armor and items & all the neat
  55. junk that makes RPG's great. So go slow and develop your character as
  56. best you can because there is no turning back unless you start over
  57. completely....

  60. finishing c9Battle Lands c2because in the Computer Link you will find
  61. about 300 documents all of which contain valuable information &
  62. secrets.....oh yes there are secrets...moohaha!!!
